The Board for plant varieties took over the archive of mr. Paul van der Kooij
Paul was senior lecturer in intellectual property law at Leiden University and in that capacity made a huge contribution to the development, interpretation and discussion surrounding plant breeders' rights in recent decades.
His contributions where not only leading for the Netherlands, but were also authoritative and leading within the European Union and in UPOV circles.

Following our news item published in August, the submission conditions for courgette and various cabbage crops have been revised again. Important: the final submission date for the DUS sample for courgette, cauliflower, kale, savoy cabbage and kohlrabi has been postponed by two weeks.
