New harmonized application form
A new version of the application form for variety listing and the granting of plant breeders’ rights in the Netherlands will be introduced shortly.
A new version of the application form
The CPVO and the Board for Plant Varieties (Raad voor plantenrassen) have jointly developed a harmonized application form.
With this new form, we aim to make it easier for you, as an applicant, to submit applications to the CPVO or the Board for Plant Varieties.
The harmonized application form will be available from 30 June in the CPVO online application system and can also be consulted on the website of the Board for Plant Varieties.
An explanatory note on the application form will also be available there.

Harmonization of Technical Questionnaires (TQs)
The Board for plant varieties has been working with CPVO for some time on the harmonization of Technical Questionnaires (TQs). The objective is to make as many CPVO and the Board for plant varieties TQs as possible identical on a one-to-one basis. This harmonisation will make it easier for applicants to submit either a national application or a CPVO application, as the information can simply be copied from one application to the other. Recently, a number of additional TQs have been harmonized.
