The Board would like to remind you that December 31, 2022 is the closing date for applications for prolongation. The application fee for prolongation must be received by this day at the latest, otherwise the Board cannot accept the application for prolongation.

Harmonization of Technical Questionnaires (TQs)

The Board for plant varieties has been working with CPVO for some time on the harmonization of Technical Questionnaires (TQs). The objective is to make as many CPVO and the Board for plant varieties TQs as possible identical on a one-to-one basis. This harmonisation will make it easier for applicants to submit either a national application or a CPVO application, as the information can simply be copied from one application to the other. Recently, a number of additional TQs have been harmonized.
